About Soleva: who we are and how we work
Soleva is an information platform on solar panels, home batteries and charging points in Belgium, and is owned by Jakency BV. The platform publishes prices, comparisons and explanations, and collects quote requests from visitors who are considering an installation. Soleva does not install and does not sell equipment. That choice also determines how the figures on this site are established, and below you read exactly what to expect.
Who is Soleva?
Soleva is an information and lead generation platform for the Belgian market. It publishes in Dutch, French and English on three subjects: solar panels, home batteries and charging points. Each subject has its own hub, with the prices, the brands, the regulations and the practical choices that belong to it underneath.
The site is built as a reference work rather than a catalogue. Anyone comparing finds the figures on the page itself, in tables and charts drawn from a single central data source.
Who owns Soleva?
Soleva is owned by Jakency BV. Jakency BV is based in Lummen and carries company number BE0682.755.680. Jan Kenis is the founder of Jakency.
That ownership is stated explicitly because a reader should be able to check who they are dealing with. The company behind a platform decides who is responsible for what it publishes, and that should not sit hidden behind a brand name.
How are the figures on this site established?
Every amount on Soleva comes from one central table and not from the running text of a page. That table holds the indicative prices per capacity for an installed home battery and per power rating for a solar installation, VAT included. When the site is built, diverging amounts in the text are automatically rewritten to those values.
This is not a detail but the principle the platform runs on. A site quoting €7,000 on one page and €5,000 on another for the same 10 kWh battery gives the reader two answers to one question. More than 980 such contradictory claims were aligned this way.
Where the prices come from
The indicative prices were checked against the Belgian market in August 2026 and not derived from the site's own content. Below every price table there is a source line naming the references consulted and the period. If the market shifts, that one table changes and the whole site follows in a single build.
What is deliberately absent
A figure without a verifiable source stays out. That applies to subsidy amounts that change yearly, to warranty terms of brands whose warranty document is not publicly available, and to results or customer numbers. An expired or unprovable figure does more harm than a missing one.
What Soleva does not do
Soleva is neither an installer nor a seller. The platform supplies no equipment, carries out no work and gives no warranty on hardware or installation; that stays between you and the installer doing the job.

How do you reach us?
A request goes through the form on every page or through the contact page. You provide your name, email address, phone number, address and a description, and those details are used only to handle your request.
You can also write directly to info@soleva.be. Questions about the content of a page are welcome at that same address: if a figure is no longer correct, we adjust the central table and the whole site follows.
Indicative prices for the Belgian market, checked in August 2026 against energy-village.be, thuisbatterij.be and zen-zonne-energie.be. These are market ranges for an installed system including VAT, not a quotation: your price depends on capacity, brand and the state of your existing installation.
